Discover with us the Papuan Gorge , a unique space with which you can interact thanks to the descent of ravines. You will enjoy nature in its purest state and you will have fun with this complete sport. This ravine is located in the Jerte Valley.
Within the province of Cáceres, in the municipality of Jerte. The descent of the ravine of Papuos, is one of the best known of the valley of Jerte. It maintain its flow even in the hottest months of summer. The crystal clear waters and sunshine throughout its journey make this ravine a water park in the middle of nature.
This ravine is ideal to start in the canyoning. Its rappels, jumps and slides are not required since you can get around each one of them walking along a parallel path. Only you choose what you want or do not want to do.
The duration of the entire ravine is approximately 6 hours, including the estimated time to the ravine, the actual descent, and the return time to the starting point.
The ravine consists of five rappels (24, 11, 30, 17 and 11 meters), six slides and shuttles (3, 10, 8, 8, 3 and 4 meters), and two jumps (8 and 6 meters).
El Guía de Tabei Adventures os recibirá en la caseta de información de la población de Jerte a las 10:00h. Se entregará el equipo para el descenso de barrancos (traje de neopreno, arnés y casco) y a continuación nos dirigiremos al barranco que se encuentra a unos 45 minutos de aproximación a pie. Una vez allí el guía os conducirá por el barranco.
Sus rapeles, saltos y toboganes no son obligados ya que puedes sortear cada uno de ellos andando por una senda paralela. Sólo tu eliges que quieres o no quieres hacer.
La duración del barranco completo es de unas 6h aproximadas, incluyendo el tiempo de aproximación al barranco, el descenso propiamente dicho y el tiempo de retorno al punto de partida. El barranco consta de cinco rápeles ( 24, 11, 30, 17 y 11 metros), seis toboganes y lanzaderas (3, 10, 8, 8, 3 y 4 metros), dos saltos (8 y 6 metros).
El tiempo estimado es de unas 6h. Sin duda, una experiencia inolvidable a dos horas de Madrid.

El grupo está compuesto por un mínimo de 6 participantes y por un máximo de 12. El ratio siempre será de 1 guía /6 participantes.
Precios especiales para grupos a partir de 7 personas.
En caso de no llegarse al grupo mínimo se cancelaría la actividad, habiendo posibilidad de pagar un suplemento por grupo pequeño de 20 € para grupo de 5 personas y 50 € para grupo de 3-4 personas.
Este suplemento está supeditado a que todos los participantes acepten el pago del mismo.

Tabei reserves the right to cancel an activity for reasons of force majeure or cases of imminent danger due to weather conditions. The same right is reserved in the event that there is not enough demand to create a group. In both cases, the client may develop another activity with similar characteristics to the one contracted.
If the activity is canceled for meteorological reasons the same day of its celebration, the customers will be entitled to another activity on a different day with similar characteristics to the one contracted.
Tabei Adventure reserves the right to cancel the activity for those customers who do not have the necessary capacity to face certain activities or for their dangerous or violent behavior. In the first case, an activity according to its capacity would be sought and in the second and third, the activity would be suspended without the client having the right to return the cost of the activity.
If they subtract more than three weeks for the development of the activity and it was canceled by the client, the latter will be entitled to the refund of 100% of the cost of the activity.
If the cancellation is made with less than three weeks and more than 4 days, you will only be entitled to a refund of 90% of the cost of the activity.
If the cancellation is made with less than 4 days and more than 2 days, you will only be entitled to a refund of 20% of the cost of the activity.
If the activity is canceled by the client 2 or less days before its start or during the development of the same, it will not be entitled to any refund.
If the activity is canceled by the client during the development of the activity, he will not be entitled to any refund.
Any cancellation and subsequent return will cost € 5 for management expenses.

Bañador Botas o zapatillas de deporte para el barranco (no chanclas). Este material se mojará por lo que conviene dejar en el coche calzado de repuesto Agua (mínimo 1L) algo para picar, crema solar y protector labial.
Es muy importante llevar un calzado que tenga una buena suela, y que sujete el tobillo de una forma compacta, los resbalones son habituales, la progresión se realiza sobre superficies irregulares y húmedas, que generan pérdidas de equilibrio.
